This is our equipment from the start of the
organization to the present some of our older
equipment can be seen in our museum at our
station.

2 1896 Hand Drawn Hose Carts Souderton Borough brought two of these in 1896 and formed a paid fire

company. In 1901 the paid company was disbanded and Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company was formed, and they were given to them. One of them is housed in our museum.

The 1910 Ladder wagon could be either hand or horse drawn. In 1946

the trustees were instructed to dispose of it. It was sold to a painter,

and we bought it back at a auction and restored it in 1976

1893 Holloway Chemical Cart

Restoration was done by Dave Fellman Jr., Bryan Sell,

Ed Hunsicker, Dave Fellman Sr., Henry Jacoby, Denny Chernuka,

Kenny Schuler, and Conie Shuler

1917 Ford Model T Purchased in 1918 - 2 30gal. Chemical Tanks -

Still Housed In Museum At Our Station

1929 Segrave 600 gpm

1930 Reo 500 gpm

Purchased in 1931 with a 500

gpm. Hale rotary gear pump

270" Wheelbase - 40' 7.5" Overall Length - Cost $13,750

- 750 gpm. Pump - 125 gal. Water Tank - 250' of Ground

Ladders - 1000' 2.5" Hose - 2 1000 Watt Floodlights - Generator

1946 Willy's - was used as a chief's Vehicle and later

converted into a field piece . Unit was sold in 2003 to

Bergey's Jeep can be seen in their showroom in Franconia

1946 Ford 500 gpm

April 1949 the company purchased a 1948 Segrave for $15,000 with a

750 gpm. pump - 300 gal. tank and 2500' of hose the floodlights from

the 1940 ladder truck were added later

1955 Dodge High Pressure Pump

1962 Segrave 1000 gpm

1000 gpm. pump chassis was used

for rescue truck in 1990 same

body that is on 1995 rescue

1979 Jeep CJ - 7 - 75 gal. Water Tank - 30 gpm. Pump - Used as Plow in Winter

1992 Pierce Arrow - 6 Man Cab - 1500 gpm. Pump - 750 gal. Water

Tank - Deck Gun - 4 Preconnects - 1200 ft. 5 in. Supply Line - 6 kw.

Generator

Used as a Duty Chief Vehicle we rotate bi-weekly between the Deputy

Chief, Assistant Chief, and Battalion Chief. That officer responds to the

scene along with the Chief. Has been taken out of service
